Commercialisation support and successful Rural Enterprise Grant Fund application for the Re-Vector® ZH800
Ross Innovation Ltd is a Cumbrian innovation business developing advanced robotics for demanding and constrained environments, with applications across nuclear, aerospace and industrial markets.
The business had developed a strong technical proposition, but needed support to turn its technology into a credible commercial product that customers could see, test and buy.
The key challenge was developing a clear route from innovation and technical development through to funding, productisation and market opportunity.

Ray McCreadie of CBASS worked with Philip to develop a practical route forward, linking technical development, grant funding and commercial opportunity.
Support included reviewing the business and its growth plans, identifying the need for a smaller robotic demonstrator and developing a strong application for the Rural Enterprise Grant Fund.
In September 2026, Ross Innovation successfully secured the full amount applied for, allowing the business to move forward with development of the Re-Vector® ZH800.
The new demonstrator will give prospective customers something tangible to evaluate and support future trials, proofs of concept and sales opportunities.
